Lanark County Council approved a revision to the 2023-34 Homelessness Prevention Program Investment Plan this week.
Community Support Services Manager Brooke told council that the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing announced new funding after the provincial budget was released in March.
As we reported at the time, the county is getting an additional $990,100.
It goes to emergency shelter solutions, supportive housing, community outreach and support services, and general housing assistance.
