Time is running out to nominate a member of the Smiths Falls community for their annual local awards.
The awards recognize members of the community who go above and beyond to make Smiths Falls a better place to live. There’s the Brooke and Brittany Henderson Award for Youth, the Charles Gilhuly award for behind the scenes work, and the Good Neighbour Award.
The nominations close this coming Friday, May 5th, at 4:00 pm.
They’re also looking for nominations for the Municipal Volunteer Award. It recognizes someone who has given their time and assisted in creating change through service on one or more municipal boards or committees.
