The OPP has issued a public safety warning about packages containing a potentially deadly substance that may have been sent to individuals at risk of self-harm in communities across Ontario.
Police say the packages contain sodium nitrite, which was being sold online and distributed by mail.
Investigators say over a dozen Ontario communities have been impacted.
If you or someone you know received a package from the following businesses, call the OPP immediately: Imtime Cuisine, AmbuCA, Academic, Escape Mode, ICemac.
Peel Regional Police said Tuesday they arrested a Mississauga man accused of being involved.
