Algonquin College's Perth Campus
Algonquin College in Perth wants Lanark County to keep them in mind when it comes to decision making surrounding housing and transportation.
Dean Chris Hahn told council they’re ready to engage in any and all discussion around the matters, saying that boosting the local campus in turn boosts the economy.
That includes having attainable housing nearby the campus.
Hahn says what they’re seeking to improve is not news to anyone across Lanark County, because it’s needed everywhere.
Hahn said they’d like to collaborate on a marketing plan, securing a housing development, and establish an in-community transit solution.
