Canada’s Walk of Fame is coming to Almonte.
On August 12th, the Walk of Fame will be honouring the inventor of basketball Dr. James Naismith with a special Hometown Stars event.
Details are few for now but more will come out as the day gets closer.
Dr. Naismith was induced into the country’s walk of fame in 2019, and a replica of his star in Toronto will be brought to Almonte.
