The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital are loosening COVID-19 restrictions, following the lead of other hospitals and the downgrading of the pandemic by the World Health Organization.
The Almonte and Carleton Place hospitals eased their masking restrictions earlier this month.
As of today, May 23, masking will remain in place for all staff to patient and visitor interactions, and in waiting rooms.
Masking for staff, patients, and visitors have the option to not wear a mask in all public areas, while patients are asked to wear them outside of their rooms.
The PSFDH team respectfully asks you to continue to screen for symptoms before coming to the hospital.
