Lanark County OPP have charged a Gatineau resident after an investigation into reports of gunshots last week in Carleton Place.
At around midnight on May 17th, police responded to the reports of gunshots in the Sussex and Princess Street area. One person sustained minor injuries.
An investigation led to the arrest of 29-year-old Ahmad Hassan, who’s facing 11 charges including aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused was held in custody.
