You have a chance to help out local patients, while having fun with your family Saturday at the second annual Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation Family Fun Day at Settler’s Ridge Mall.
Margot Hallam, CEO of the Foundation, says the community has come together to make it happen.
It begins at 11 and Margo calls it the kick off to their MRI campaign, as they work to raise $6 million to make it happen.
They hope to have the machine up and running by the fall to shorten wait lists for local patients who now have to travel to get the crucial test.
Hallam says they’re working on something big that will help the people they serve.
