The Table Community Food Centre’s provided an update on their Harvey Street fundraiser.
The community has donated $22,000 to help those displaced from the April fire.
Residents have yet to return to the building and most continue staying in motels or at relatives, while a few have found boarding options to tide them over.
Insurance has covered some of these additional costs, but with estimates of returning to the building ranging from next month to a year, many residents are concerned about insurance coverage running out before they can return home.
