$90,000 has made its way to seniors organizations across Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston.
MPP John Jordan announced the investment last week in the provinces large scale focus on the aging population through funding Seniors Community Grants.
Below is a breakdown of how the funding shapes out.
- The Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds Grenville – $20,977 toward its Minds in Motion Program
- The Lanark Highlands Public Library Board – $13,063 toward its Along for the Ride in Mind,
Body and Spirit Program - Southern Frontenac Community Services Corporation – $25,000 toward its Rural Seniors
Engagement Plan - Tatlock Hall Association – $10,000 toward its Seniors 55+ 2023/24 Activities Plan
- The Township of Montague – $19,850 toward its Seniors Awareness, Social and Physical Well
