Paula Banks is settling in as Rideau Lakes’ newest councillor.
Having won the by-election for the vacant Ward 1 seat for Bastard and South Burgess on May 16th, Banks has had a few weeks to acclimatize to her new responsibilities.
She has some goals in mind.
Livingston edged out two other candidates in the by-election after placing third in the municipal election in October.
Banks told Lake 88 she wants honour late councilor Cathy Livingston, the seat she filled following her passing in December.
A few weeks and meetings into her role, Banks says she’s enjoying the position.
