The Town of Carleton Place reminds you that the total burn ban remains in effect for the municipality.
No fires of any kind are allowed.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has not yet lifted its Restricted Fire Zone (RFZ) order for the area, despite a smattering of rainfall recently.
This means the town is not able to lift the fire ban at this time.
Carleton Place Fire Department will continue to monitor conditions and issue updates as required.
Check your municipalities website to see if your burn bans been lifted or not.
