Brianna Hollis is somewhere in California right now.
Typically a nurse at the Perth campus of the PSFDH, Lake 88 caught up with her 566 miles into a 2654 mile, or 4,129km, trek across the Pacific Crest Trail.
A casual day-hiker before tackling this feat, Hollis figures she has about five more months left on the trail, and it’s been a good start.
She’s raising money for Lanark County Mental Health because she sees the need for more support in her work life.
Hollis wants to raise a dollar per mile, and is well on her way having raised around $1,300 so far. She figures it will take about five more months to complete the trail.
You can donate through the Lanark County Mental Health portal, and include in your private note it’s on behalf of Brianna Hollis’ hike.
Hollis says you can follow her journey on Instagram, she accepts all follow requests, here.
