Perth council conducted a special committee meeting on Tuesday, inviting public comments for the town’s Official Plan review. This review, mandated by provincial legislation, commenced with a public session where residents shared valuable feedback on crucial aspects such as tree canopy protection, mixed-use development projects, attainable and student housing, and childcare.
To ensure community engagement, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the town’s website at Perth.ca until July 31st. Your input will shape the future of Perth’s development and policies.
The council aims to prepare amendments for a vote in the first quarter of 2024, followed by approval from Lanark County council.
