The Leeds OPP and Grenville OPP Marine Unit responded to a concerning incident on Indian Lake in Rideau Lakes Township on Saturday. The scene unfolded when a kayaker was hit by a passing boat.
Thankfully no one was hurt.
The inattentive boater, unaware of their presence, collided with the kayaker, causing a moment of panic and concern.
Authorities swiftly intervened, and following a thorough investigation, the boater was charged with operating their vessel in an unsafe manner.
