Erin Lee alongside Toronto mayor who declares IPV an epidemic, calls on province to do more

Lanark County Interval House Executive Director Erin Lee was in Toronto last week alongside new city Mayor Olivia Chow as Toronto declared Intimate Partner Violence an epidemic.

Lee spoke at the press conference, and says the current system has failed the victims of IPV, and their families.

Lee used the press conference to call on the government to do more.

Lee says if they follow the recommendations outlined from the Culleton, Kuzyk, and Warmerdam Inquest, the world would be a safer place.
