Lanark County’s “Hit the Brakes” program is looking for help from anyone who calls the county home.
The speed management program’s goal is to create and provide a fair and transparent process for requesting speed-management measures.
Public Works Manager Sean Derouin told In Focus that comments have been pouring in about specific locations that could be addressed.
Right now, they’re asking the public to weigh in on the process of deciding how to handle those requests in way that’s fair for all.
It’s easy to have your say too, just visit the Hit the Brakes section of the county’s website to get started.
