The Ontario government is investing over $2 million in Laurysen Kitchens Ltd., aiding the expansion of its Carleton Place location with an 80,000-square-foot plant.
The investment was recently announced by Carleton MPP Goldie Ghamari and Lanark–Frontenac–Kingston MPP John Jordan.
The new plant, a $26-million-plus project, is expected to open in spring 2024, consolidating the company’s operations in Carleton Place and featuring a design center in Ottawa.
The province says the investment will create better-paying jobs and benefit homeowners and developers in the region, showcasing the region’s readiness for business and economic growth.
