“Unacceptable levels of bacteria,” at several local swim spots, says health unit

The weekly water bacteria tests at local swim spots are in from the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit.

The Health Unit says the results indicated unacceptable levels of bacteria at Riverside in Carleton Place, Lyn Valley Park in Elizabethtown, Kendrick’s Park in Leeds and the 1000 Islands, both the Merrickville and Almonte beaches, and Lower Beverley Lake Park in Rideau Lakes.
