The Smiths Falls Police Service is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Basic Constable Training Program by Constables Travis Robidoux and Karling Fraser. The police service extends its warm congratulations to them for this significant accomplishment.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, where the recruits were officially sworn in as constables. Surrounded by their loved ones, family, and friends, they proudly received their constable badges, marking the beginning of their new journey in law enforcement.
The graduation ceremony was made even more poignant by the inclusion of the traditional “March Past.” This ceremony held special significance as it marked the final March for retiring Smiths Falls Chief Mark MacGillivray. Joining the community for an upcoming In Focus session this Thursday, Chief MacGillivray’s distinguished career will be celebrated and reflected upon.
The Smiths Falls Police Service applauds its new constables and pays tribute to Chief MacGillivray for his dedicated service, underscoring the commitment to excellence and continuity within the police force.
