The Liquor Control Board of Ontario is warning those who subscribe to its promotional emails of a data breach.
The Crown corporation says LCBO subscriber data may have been accessed by an unauthorized party.
It says information that may have been impacted includes names, email addresses, birth dates, postal codes and Aeroplan numbers.
A malicious code was embedded on the LCBO’s website back in January to gather customer information, forcing the corporation to disable customer access to its website and its mobile app for an investigation.
