Millennials make up about 15% of the population of Lanark County, and 21% of Ontario, but the Prime Minister made sure to let them know they are a priority as he closed out his cabinet retreat in Prince Edward Island.
Justin Trudeau says they are working to ease their struggles after having two very important years of their lives taken away due to the pandemic.
He says the government owes it to the generation to ensure they have every opportunity that generations before them have had.
Many say they’re struggling and worry they’ll never be able to own a home.
