Fire Prevention Officer Kim Destun says now’s a good time to prioritize fire safety.
Destun adds that if the place you’re currently living in doesn’t seem to meet the necessary safety standards and the landlord doesn’t seem to be bothered, to reach out to the local fire department from any municipality for assistance.
