The Carleton Place Canadians are getting regular season ready.
They recently wrapped up play in a pair of preseason tournaments, shaking off the rust and working on the systems of new head coach Adam Lloyd.
Lloyd says this is the best time to take stock of their team to see what they’re working with.
Part of a new season is new leadership, as Will Soloway was handed the captaincy.
Lloyd told Lake 88 that decision was a no-brainer.
Aidan Cooper, Owen Brady and Caton Ryan were also named assistant captains.
The Canadians are next on the ice this Sunday at 3 p.m. against the Ottawa Junior Senators at the Carleton Place Arena.
