Carleton Place Chief Administrative Officer Diane Smithson is being reappointed to her role as local municipal representative on the Mississippi-Rideau Source Protection Committee.
Clerk Stacey Blair addressed elected representatives September 5th to receive their consent.
Blair says Smithson’s reappointment had already been endorsed by the two neighbouring municipalities.
Councils must submit their jointly approved names to the SPAs by December 1st, 2023.
