The Village of Westport is asking residents to be vigilant.
There have been several break-ins over the past couple of weeks in the village.
The suspects have entered unlocked garages and sheds overnight and removed owner’s belongings.
You’re asked to lock your doors to prevent property theft, and file a police report if you’ve been a victim. They say doing so will support the Village’s request for night patrols by the OPP.
