Perth council continues to work with The Community Housing Initiative, or CHIP, with their plans to offer more affordable housing in the town.
Originally the group proposed a 3-unit affordable rental, but town staff identified a site that would fit a larger building.
Working with Carebridge on the proposal, Reverend Kenneth O. Davis outlined it recently.
Councillors approved moving forward on the project, calling for a full report for detailed review at their next meeting.
