Rideau Community Health Services is hosting a Community Connection event today, October 25th, until 4:30 at the Smiths Falls Civitan.
They’ve invited agencies and interested members of the community to talk about where people should turn in a crisis or when they get sick.
Manager of Health Promotion, Sam Davidson says they’ll be talking about a new method they’re using to help.
She says social prescribing admits these people do need help, it just works to help get it to them.
