President and CEO of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Michael Cohen says there’s no quick solution to the matter either.
A growing demand for services coupled with a healthcare system that’s seemingly running on fumes across the board has the small town hospitals playing catchup.
Cohen says right now, they don’t have the literal size for the fight.
