Smiths Falls Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle who was driving erratically on Lombard St in the early morning hours of October 28th.
An officer attempted to stop the vehicle, and when he exited the cruiser to speak to the driver, the driver reversed towards the officer who managed to get out of the way, striking the cruiser.
A pursuit was initiated but called off in Rideau Lakes township for safety reasons.
The man’s described as Asian with shoulder length dark hair and was last seen in Kitley Township in a blue Kia Sportage with a stolen BC license plate#SD888P.
This driver was observed in the Walmart parking lot prior to this incident consuming alcohol with others in their vehicles
