The 1st Ukrainian Fest in Lanark County takes place Sunday.
The all-day event takes place at the Carleton Place Arena and will feature a lunch, all-ages workshops, Ukrainian contemporary music and more.
Olga Lalovenko is a coordinator and says this is something local Ukrainians are putting on as a thank you to Canada for taking them in following the war with Russia.
Lalovenko says this is a day for Canadians, to learn more about Ukrainian culture.
The festival runs from 11 until 4 on the second floor of the arena.
