Rake now, time’s just about up: Leaves and brush pickup begins in Smiths Falls

Smiths Falls is picking up fall leaves this week, just like many other municipalities in our listening area.

A reminder: Put your leaves and brush by the curb the day after your normal waster pickup day. They’ll try to grab it then, but it could take a couple of days, so don’t worry if it doesn’t disapear right away.

Also, remember to put it all in brown paper yard-waste bags. Your brush should be in manageable sized-bundles.
