A new four-way stop at the intersections of Morris Street and Boyd Street, and Morris Street and Mississippi Road in Carleton Place is closer to reality.
Councillor Mark Hinton brought the motion forward at the town’s last Committee of the whole, after a decade of complaints about traffic flows and dangers to walkers.
The move received support around the table, with Councillor Dena Comley weighing in.
Both stop signs were passed by the committee to now be sent to council for final approval
