There’s a meeting tonight at the Table in Perth that explains what a basic income is.
The session, which begins at 7:00, is hosted by the Lanark Basic Income Network. It features a short presentation they’ve dubbed “Basic Income 101” followed by a question and answer session.
A Basic Income is a regular payment without condition sent from government to those who fall below a certain threshold to pay for the necessities of life.
