And just like that, ATV season is over on the Algonquin Trail.
The trail’s team of caretakers has taken to social media, warning users that ATV access wrapped up over the weekend and won’t reopen until May 1st.
On the other hand, they add that snowmobile season will get underway as soon as enough snow covers the trails to accommodate them.
The nearly 300 kilometre long Algonquin Trail, also known as the Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail, stretches from Smiths Falls to just shy of Mattawa.
