Bob White presents Jim McCreedy his award
Jim McCready is this year’s citizen of the year in Carleton Place in recognition of his long volunteer service in coaching youth sports and leadership on the town’s urban forest and river corridor committee.
He explained how that committee was able to improve tree canopies without a large budget.
McCreedy received the honour at the annual Carleton Place annual Town Appreciation Night for volunteers and staff.
