Today, we focus on the food situation in Athens as we speak with The Athens Food Bank’s Dave Bunt about the situation there ahead of this week’s stop by the RCL Automotive Build a Mountain of Food on Saturday.
He says they may be a small community but the demand is growing.
Bunt, says the community steps up every year. In fact, one couple actually gave the Athens Food Bank a new home.
The Community has a chance to help out once again on Saturday morning from 9 until noon at the Athens Fresh Market.
