The provincial government announced earlier this week an investment of $400 million in 2024 OCIF funding for 425 rural and northern communities pay for infrastructure projects.
Locally, Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston will receive just over $7 million as part of the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund, while LGTI and Rideau Lakes will see $8.7 million in funds.
It’s the same level of investment in OCIF as 2023.
