The free Carleton Place Christmas Day Community Dinner will be held at the ‘Final Score Sports Bar’ from noon until four.
Owner Mark Van Rijswijk says when the former organizer decided it was time to pass the torch, his group was happy to receive it.
Rijswijk says it all comes together thanks to a great crew of volunteers.
And they need them too. Mark expects a large crows this year. To make a reservation, which they do ask for, just call 613-866-9911. They also have delivery and takeout available and can even offer a ride if you need it.
It takes place at 384 Flora Street, Christmas Day from noon until 4pm.
