Toonies for the Table wraps up today (Friday), and it has been a huge success for the people who use the Community Food Centre’s services both in Perth and Smiths Falls.
The idea came from Perth Councilor Isabelle-Anne McRae. Her brother Mark McCrae who owns Topps Environmental Solutions, asked to tour the Table.
The Councilor picks up the story from there.
They were hoping to hit the $14,000 mark with the campaign. Now they’re confident that they’ll hit $15,000.
You can help until the end of the day at most retailers in Perth.
McRae hopes to make the fundraiser and annual affair.
