The Carleton Place Canadians warm up for a game in 2023.
Owner, Head Coach, and General Manager of the Carleton Place Canadians Brent Sullivan assessed his club’s season as the new year has arrived.
He described the 2023 calendar as a whirlwind, which included him returning from the OHL to behind the bench in the midst of the team freefalling in the standings.
Since then, he says they’ve recovered nicely but the expectations far exceed how they’ve played so far.
Assessing the past few weeks of the season, Sullivan said team defence was a big focus.
The Canadians are 16-15-2 after 33 games and are back in action Friday night against the Hawkesbury Hawks.
