You may be saying to yourself it’s a new year so it’s a new me and the Leeds Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit wants to help you achieve your goals to a healthier life.
Eating better and physical exercise are the most common resolutions people make in January but sticking to them is challenging for a lot of people.
That’s why Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li suggests taking an open minded approach when setting your goals.
Li suggests making your resolution a building block to a better self, rather than a deciding factor.
Doing so Li says could encourage you to keep at your resolution for longer, rather than giving yourself an ultimatum at the start of the year to not do one thing or another.
