Winter has arrived.
Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory after forecasting up to 20 cms of snow by mid0day or early this afternoon.
Drivers can expect hazardous winter driving conditions and should adjust travel plans accordingly. Basically if you don’t have to drive this morning, don’t.
If you do you should be ready for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Drive slowly, leave plenty of space and clean off your car completely before heading out.
For road conditions and other traveller information from the Ministry of Transportation, visit ontario.ca/511, twitter.com/511Ontario, or call 5-1-1.
The good news is there is no snow in the forecast for tomorrow as the kids head back to class.
