The replacement of the Visitor Information Centre roof at the Perth Museum has been completed.
The next steps in the renovations include updating the ceiling and flooring, as well as a fresh coat of paint.
The museum expects that to be wrapped up in about a month and they will remain closed until then.
They anticipate reopening by mid-February.
