Hydro One is reminding us to have emergency kits at the ready so you can shelter in place for up to 72 hours in the event of a big power outage.
Hydro One spokesperson Tiziana Baccega Rosa shared some startling surprising kit stats.
Baccega said it can take time for hydro crews to get on site to fix downed polls or snapped lines.
She said don’t count on luck to get through a power outage.
