The Upper Canada District School Board discussed the public feedback they received from the information sessions held and survey’s issued around changing bell times.
There was about a 3% response rate among 50 to 55,000 stakeholders which included staff, parents, and student councils.
Director of Education Ron Ferguson says the figures cannot be entirely trusted.
Among others, the top concerns shared by respondents if a change were to go ahead are work arrangements, before and after school care and extra-curriculars.
