The Smiths Falls Police Service made an arrest following an investigation into a distburbance call Thursday.
They attended a Beckwith Street address on the 18th and subsequently began an intimate partner violence investigation.
They learned a 19-year-old Smiths Falls female had allegedly assaulted her 18-year old male partner.
She was located outside the residence and arrested for assault.
