Lanark County is using the freezing rain and bad weather as an opportunity to remind us to be ready for winter.
This time they’re focusing on being prepared food-wise for a few days.
They remind us to make sure we have some essentials and want us to stock our emergency kits with non-perishable, easy-to-prepare food, and a can opener. It’s important that you put it in your kit, so you can keep all you need for an emergency in one place.
