Good Morning!
It’s the start of a new week! What’s new with you?
Us? Well, welcome to Lanark and Leeds 88.1 myFM! You’re going to hear some new things, but lots of familiar features, and people too. It’s going to be a lot of fun!
Just so you know, if you have an event and would like to have it added to the 48, please submit your info here!
STUFF TO DO
Get out and enjoy the day! Just a reminder that local outdoor rinks are open to skaters at no charge. Perth has a pair of rinks, one at the Fire Hall, at 1881 Rogers Road, and another at Stewart Park. Carleton Place’s rinks at Carleton Junction, the Carambeck Community Centre, and McNeely Park. Smiths Falls has the Gerry Lowe Memorial Rink of Dreams right next to the arena. Remember: if the ice looks like it needs some maintenance stay off it until the volunteers can get it fixed up.
Marking Alzheimer’s Awareness Month: The Alzheimer’s Society Lanark Leeds and Grenville invites you to a special session called Brain Health tomorrow from 1 until 4 pm at the Smiths Falls Memorial Arena Hall, upstairs. Guest speakers will address nutrition, hearing health, concussion prevention, and heart health as they discuss what you need to know to keep your brain and body healthy. All are welcome.
