Lanark County continues its heating retrofit project for their housing properties.
$633,300 of funding is allocated this year to their efforts with a larger focus in Smiths Falls.
Councilor Peter McKenna highlighted the units scheduled for a retrofit.
That means the Burke Street apartment building will soon have air conditioning in time for the warmer weather which is a huge relief to residents.
The work is 100% funded through provincial and federal programs.
